Sela Raises $21M Across Seed and Series A Rounds

Powering More Than $1B in New Mortgages Monthly With Voice AI

Press Release ·

Vector Legal represented Sela, a developer of voice AI agents for mortgage lenders, in its Series A financing. Costanoa led the round, with participation from Emergence Capital. The financing brings Sela’s total funding across its seed and Series A rounds to $21 million.

Sela’s AI agents help loan officers originate more than $1 billion in new mortgages each month, engaging prospective borrowers, answering complex questions, and connecting them with loan officers. According to the company, six of the ten largest independent mortgage banks in the United States now use its technology. The funding will support team expansion and the development of AI agents that guide borrowers throughout the consumer finance journey.

“Super meticulous and relentless. Incredibly fast response time on emails. I’m so glad I went with them for our Series A fundraise as opposed to big-law at 2x the price.”
